Project Overview:

The Obafemi family commissioned S’idor Luxury to transform their beachfront villa into a serene and elegant retreat that blends modern luxury with coastal charm. The goal was to create an inviting space for relaxation and entertaining, with interiors that reflect the beauty of the surrounding ocean.

Design Concept:

• Living Room: We embraced the villa’s oceanfront location by incorporating large glass doors that open to the sea view. The living room features a neutral palette with pops of blue, reminiscent of the ocean. Comfortable, oversized seating, a handwoven rug, and coastal-inspired decor elements, such as driftwood sculptures, enhance the airy, relaxed atmosphere.
• Kitchen: The kitchen was designed to be both a culinary haven and a social hub, with an open-plan layout, a spacious island, and state-of-the-art appliances. White quartz countertops, navy-blue cabinetry, and brass fixtures create a chic coastal vibe. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining area, where a custom-made wooden dining table sits under a modern chandelier.
• Bedrooms: Each bedroom was designed with tranquility in mind, featuring soft, muted tones, luxurious linens, and large windows to maximize natural light and views. Custom headboards, elegant lighting, and built-in storage add a touch of sophistication. The master suite includes a private balcony overlooking the ocean, complete with cozy outdoor seating.
• Bathrooms: The villa’s bathrooms were transformed into spa-like sanctuaries, with natural stone finishes, rain showers, and deep soaking tubs. Coastal touches, such as seashell-shaped basins and ocean-inspired artwork, add a unique flair.
• Outdoor Space: The outdoor area was designed to be an extension of the villa’s interior, with a spacious deck, infinity pool, and shaded lounge areas. We used natural materials like teak wood and rattan furniture to blend with the coastal environment. Lush greenery and ambient lighting create a perfect setting for evening gatherings or peaceful relaxation.

Challenges Overcome:

• Weather Resistance: Ensuring that all materials used in the renovation were durable and resistant to the coastal elements, including humidity, saltwater, and sun exposure.
• Seamless Integration: Blending the interior design with the natural surroundings while maintaining the luxurious feel expected by the client.
• Privacy: Designing the outdoor space to provide privacy while still offering unobstructed views of the ocean.

Final Outcome:

The completed villa is a luxurious coastal oasis that perfectly balances comfort and style. The design captures the essence of beachfront living while offering all the modern amenities and refined touches the Obafemi family desired. The result is a harmonious retreat where the family can unwind and entertain guests in style.
